Northwestern repeats as No. 1 seed to lead UMAC volleyball playoff field

ST. PAUL, Minn.---After a stunning finish to the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) volleyball regular season that ended with tri-champions, the University of Northwestern emerged as the No. 1 seed due to tiebreakers over the University of Minnesota Morris and the College of St. Scholastica. The No. 1 Eagles highlight the tournament set to start Monday. 

Action begins with a quarterfinal between No. 4 University of Wisconsin-Superior and No. 5 Bethany Lutheran College Monday in Superior, Wisconsin at 7 p.m. The first of two semifinal games will take place Wednesday, Nov. 6 with No. 2 Minnesota Morris hosting No. 3 St. Scholastica at 7 p.m. in Duluth. The other semifinal pits No. 1 Northwestern against the winner of Monday's quarterfinal. The championship match will take place at the location of the highest remaining seed on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m.
