Describe yourself in one word.
Determined

What does it mean to you to be a Division III student-athlete??
Performing at this level means that I get to decide how far I go, and my input of effort determines my output of performance. Being a student-athlete requires a lot of motivation and persistence to continually put in your best effort all day every day because every moment matters.

Tell us about a unique experience you've had as a student at Northwestern?
I have had the opportunity to be a part of Streetlight Ministries which is an on-campus, volunteer group that serves weekly at the Marie Sandvik Center in Minneapolis. There is so much to learn about other people and their life experiences, and this has been an amazing way for me to do that.

What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Northwestern?
I love that Northwestern's focus is future oriented instead of just temporary success. Our coaches and professors sincerely care about us as people, and it is obvious in the way they pour the wisdom they have gained from life into us along with their teachings and workouts.

Who has been the most influential on your athletics career and why?
The most influential person in my athletic career has been my Coach Matt. He has taught me that doing my best is enough and that there is so much more purpose for my life than just winning.
