ST. PAUL, Minn.---Each Wednesday throughout the year, the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) is featuring student-athletes in its UMAC Wednesday Profile. Student-athletes share their perspective on being a student-athlete at their institution, in the UMAC and in Division III.

Describe yourself in one word.
Humble
What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Superior?
Being a part of the baseball team and having a great group of buddies, and having a great fitness center.
Tell us about a unique experience you've had as a student at Superior?
An experience I always enjoy is getting into a class on the first day and hearing where others are from. So many times someone will say they are from the next town over and you were never aware.
What is one thing most people don't know about you?
I was once 3rd in the world in Call of Duty
Who has been the most influential on your athletics career and why?
My dad, he was a very talented track athlete and he has given me the attitude to work hard at whatever I do.

What do you love most about being a student-athlete at your Martin Luther?
I love how my team is my family here. It can be difficult to be away from home, but my teammates never let me feel lonely.
Tell us about a unique experience you've had as a student at Martin Luther?
Last summer, I studied in Buenos Aires, Argentina for half the summer. It was a great way to understand the people from a different culture and to learn more about the Spanish language.
What is something most people don't know about you??
For my summer job I work in the corn fields in Nebraska!
Who has been the most influential on your athletics career and why?
My sister has been most influential on my athletics career. During high school, we played on the same team for all three sports: basketball, volleyball, and track and field. We work out together during off-seasons and breaks, and I wouldn't love sports nearly as much if it weren't for her.

| What is one thing you want to do before you graduate? |
I want to take coaching classes here on campus from some of the great coaches that we have. I would love to have a positive impact on young people someday just like my coaches have had on me. |
