What does it mean to you to be a Division III student-athlete?
Being a Division III student-athlete has become a huge part of who I am. It gives me confidence in who I am and makes me feel like I am a part of something bigger than myself.
Tell us about a unique experience you've had as a student at Crown?
A unique experience I've had at Crown is my practicum experience. I get to be in an elementary school classroom all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays doing what I love; teaching!
Who has been the most influential on your athletics career and why?
My older brother has been the most influential on my athletics career, in softball specifically. He was a great baseball player and is always there to help me improve and to encourage me.
What is the greatest lesson you've learned from being a student-athlete?
One of the greatest lessons I've learned so far is learning to shake the mistakes off. Volleyball and softball are very mental sports and you have to learn how to move on after an error so you don't drag yourself and your team down.

Funny
What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Superior?
The community around athletics here at UWS is amazing. Every sport team supports each other.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned so far from being a college athlete?
Be humble. Not everyone gets to play a college sport and I didn't get to play until my Junior year of college because we didn't have a golf program and I quickly realized that I wasn't the best player in the school anymore, in fact I was far from it.
What is something most people don't know about you?
I facilitate high ropes course groups through the adventure program at UWS.
Who has been the most influential on your athletics career and why?
My brother because he is the one that was always there helping me with my swing even after long nights of practice and constant screaming at each other.
