Major(s): Elementary Education with Spanish Minor

Describe yourself in one word.
Persistent

What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Martin Luther?
As a student-athlete I have the opportunity to represent my college off campus. It's a time to practice such values as integrity, sportsmanship, and discipline.

Tell us about an experience you've had as a student at Martin Luther?
With a Spanish minor I have had two the opportunities to study abroad. My first experience was in Argentina where I spent 6 weeks in the extremely metropolitan city of Buenos Aires. The second experience took me to Ecuador where I hiked up Cotopaxi - an often snow-capped, stratovolcano in the Andes mountain range - to an altitude of 4,800m. Those were both wonderful, life changing experiences.

What is one thing you want to do before you graduate?
Go home to St. Lucia. I haven't been in my family's presence since 2015. December is much different in the islands as compared to the Midwest. I need a sunshine Christmas!

What is something most people don't know about you?
I speak 4 languages: English, Kweyol (St. Lucian Creole), French and Spanish.
