UMAC Player of the Week Awards - May 8, 2017
ST. PAUL, Minn.--- The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced its Player of the Week award winners Monday in the sport of baseball. The UMAC Player of the Week awards are nominated for UMAC coaches and sports information directors (SIDs) and selected by SIDs. The awards are published each Monday afternoon.

BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

- Helped UWS clinch UMAC postseason berth Sunday
- Went 9-of-21 (.429) with three home runs, 13 RBI and seven runs scored
- Had seven extra-base hits and finished slugging .952
BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Michael Dockendorf, Sr., Minnesota Morris
Howard Lake, Minn./Howard Lake-Waverly

- Earned a complete game shutout over Northwestern
- Struck out a season-high 13 batters and allowed just four hits
- Picked up his fourth-straight win and fourth complete game of the season
