Major(s): Biochemistry
Describe yourself in one word.
Hilarious.
What does it mean to you to be a Division III student-athlete?
To be a Division III athlete, you must be a student first and athlete second. You put in a lot of unrecognized work that few people see, but it is still worth the sacrifice for yourself and team.
Tell us about a unique experience you've had as a student at St. Scholastica.
Being part of school with a great outdoors program, I have been able to enjoy and appreciate nature through various activities.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned so far from being a college athlete?
I learned just because you're not great today doesn't mean you can't be great in the future. You just have to keep working and believe that you can accomplish your goals.
What is something most people don't know about you?
I make and sell homemade soap.

Kelli Doell - Martin Luther College
Sr., Softball
Appleton, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran
Major(s): Elementary and Secondary Physical Education
Describe yourself in one word.
Outgoing.
What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at Martin Luther?
There is so much to love about being a student athlete. One aspect that I love would be getting to know a wide variety of girls on campus. Developing relationships with the new girls on the team has been a blast!
What is the greatest lesson you have learned so far from being a college athlete?
The greatest lesson I have learned about being a college athlete is that there are many more hats to wear than just a softball player. Life outside of softball has many hats too!
What is something most people don't know about you?
Most people don't know that when I was younger I was only a few games away from going to the Little League World Series.
Who has been the most influential on your athletics career and why?
My Dad was the most influential man in my softball career. He continuously worked with me on the diamond. If I needed a catcher he was the first one to grab a pail and his glove and meet me in the driveway to practice pitching.
