Describe yourself in one word.
Fierce.

What does it mean to you to be a Division III student-athlete?
Being a Division III athlete means that you aren't playing to be pampered. You are purely playing with the goal of feeding your own will to compete.

What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Bethany Lutheran?
I love being a student-athlete at Bethany because of the closeness of athletes on campus as a support system for all seasons.

Describe yourself in one word.
Peace maker.

What does it mean to you to be a Division III student-athlete?
Being a DIII athlete is the opportunity to play competitively for the last time in your career. The advantage of playing at this level is being able to effectlvely balance your education while playing a sport. At a DI school, there would be times where your athletics would need to come before your education. Being involved in collegiate athletics builds character and determination. I've also learned to manage and use my time efficiently.

Tell us about a unique experience you've had as a student-athlete at Bethany Lutheran.
This past fall I went to New York with the art department. It was so eye opening to see the way they live in the big city! The food was amazing! I had a slice of pizza bigger than my head and we walked about six miles everyday. It was exhausting but totally worth it! Although the food was good, the art museums were the best part!

What is something most people don't know about you?
I really want to be on The Price is Right.

Who has been the most influential on your athletics career and why?
My little sister is my motivation for a lot of things in my life. I know she looks up to me and we share the love of tennis. It's always nice knowing I have someone to hit with and we help each other to improve our game.
