UMAC Player of the Week Awards - Feb. 6, 2017
ST. PAUL, Minn.--- The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced its Player of the Week award winners Monday in the sports of men's and women's basketball, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's indoor track and field. The UMAC Player of the Week awards are nominated for UMAC coaches and sports information directors (SIDs) and selected by SIDs. The awards are published each Monday afternoon.

MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Brandyn Frelix, Sr., Bethany Lutheran
Minneapolis, Minn./Robbinsdale Cooper

- Averaged 24.5 ppg, nine rebounds and five assists per game in two UMAC wins
- Tallied a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double effort in win over St. Scholastica
- Scored a season-high 32 points and shot 69 percent against Wisconsin-Superior
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

- Added 10 rebounds for first-collegiate double-double in the win
