ST. PAUL, Minn.--- The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced its Player of the Week award winners Monday in the sports of men's and women's basketball, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's indoor track and field. The UMAC Player of the Week awards are nominated for UMAC coaches and sports information directors (SIDs) and selected by SIDs. The awards are published each Monday afternoon. 

The award winners and descriptions of their accomplishments for the week are below:

MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

- Averaged 19.5 ppg in two games to help the Vikings clinch No. 2 tournament seed
- Tallied 22 points and nine rebounds in upset of Northwestern Saturday
- Shot 67 percent from the field and added eight assists in two games


WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

- Averaged 18.5 ppg and 13.0 rpg in two games this weekend
- Scored a career-high 29 points in win over North Central Saturday
- Shot 69.6 percent from the field in the course of two double-doubles


MEN'S INDOOR TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

- Won the 60-meter dash in 7.04 Friday at South Dakota State Meet
- Placed third in 200-meter dash with converted time of 22.71
- Currently leads the UMAC in both 60-meter and 200-meter dash


MEN'S INDOOR FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

- Won the weight throw Friday with a toss of 16.43 meters (53-11)
- Finished second in the shot put with a mark of 14.47 meters (47-5.75)
- Ranks first in the UMAC for weight throw, second for shot put


WOMEN'S INDOOR TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

- Clocked a time of 1:06.29 in the 400-meter dash Saturday
- Helped Northwestern to time of 13:39.68 in the DMR
- DMR relay finish is third-best in school history


WOMEN'S INDOOR FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
