UMAC Player of the Week Awards - Dec. 4, 2017

ST. PAUL, Minn.--- The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced its Player of the Week award winners Monday in the sports of men's and women's basketball. The UMAC Player of the Week awards are nominated for by UMAC coaches and sports information directors (SIDs) and selected by SIDs. The awards are published each Monday afternoon. 

The award winners and descriptions of their accomplishments for the week are below: 

MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
7681Brady Rose, Sr., Bethany Lutheran 
Le Sueur, Minn./Le Sueur-Henderson

- Led Bethany Lutheran to a 84-69 win over Wisconsin-Stout
- Finished with 22 points including 19 in the first half
- Went 7-of-11 from the floor with six-made 3-pointers



WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
7682Amy Berglund, Sr., Northwestern
Springfield, Va./West Springfield
- Helped Northwestern to 2-1 record with wins over MIAC opponents
- Averaged 20.3 ppg and led all Eagle scorers in each game
- Tallied career-high 26 points on 12-of-16 shooting in loss to Wisconsin-Eau Claire
