Saturday, Oct. 28 - College of St. Scholastica at Eureka College, football, 12 p.m. in Eureka, Illinois
What's at Stake
- With a win, Eureka would be in control of its own destiny and need only a win over Martin Luther on the final weekend to lock up the UMAC title.
- With a win, St. Scholastica would eliminate Eureka from contention for the UMAC title and would be in position to win the conference title against MacMurray on the final weekend.
- Should MacMurray lose to Westminster Saturday, St. Scholastica would win the conference title Saturday with a win over Eureka.
Previously in Action
- On the road, Eureka handed MacMurray its first loss of the season by a score of 37-20.
- St. Scholastica defeated Crown 49-21 to remain undefeated in conference play.
Need to Know
- In the driver's seat - For the second-straight season, Eureka is in control of its own destiny with an opportunity to win the conference title in the final two weeks of the season. Eureka has never won a UMAC title.
- Return to glory - Should the Saints win with a chance to lock up the title, they would return to top the conference after missing out last season. A championship would be the sixth title in seven years for the Saints.
- Tough D - Eureka and St. Scholastica rank second (17.4 pts/g) and third (17.9 pts/g), respectively, in points allowed this season.
- Solid offense - St. Scholastica and Eureka have two of the highest scoring offenses this season ranking first (41.3 pts/g) and second (38.4 pts/g), respecetively, in UMAC games.
