ST. PAUL, Minn.---Each Wednesday throughout the year, the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) is featuring student-athletes in its new profile series the "UMAC Wednesday Wrap with..." Student-athletes share their perspective on being a student-athlete at their institution, in the UMAC and in Division III.
This week features baseball player Andrew Colvard of the College of St. Schoalstica and basketball player Kendra Raths of the University of Minnesota-Morris.

What does it mean to you to be a Division III student-athlete?
It comes with a lot of responsibility and dedication to being both a student and an athlete.
Tell us about a unique experience you've had as a student at St. Scholastica.
A unique experience we have is being able to host youth camps allowing us to work kids all around Duluth and teach them the fundamentals of baseball that we were once taught.
What is the something most people don't know about you?
I play in competitive Cornhole/Bean bag toss leagues during the summer.
Who has been the most influential on your athletics career and why?
My older brother Austin - he showed me what it meant to be a great leader and a great competitor.

What do enjoy most about competing in the UMAC?
I enjoy competing with my team and improving in basketball.
Tell us about a unique experience you've had as a student at Minnesota Morris.
I got the opportunity to do an internship in my hometown that was sponsored by my institution. I got to work at Pinecone Vision Center and came to the conclusion that I would really enjoy becoming an optometrist one day.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned so far from being a college athlete?
Time management is very important.
Who has been the most influential on you athletics career and why?
My parents because they are always supportive and come to almost every game.
