Major(s): Elementary Education, Secondary Education Spanish

Describe yourself in one word.
Loyal.

What does it mean to you to be a Division III student-athlete?
Being a D3 student-athlete has allowed me to not only continue competing in the sports that I love, but most importantly, it has allowed me to continue in the classroom to receive a high level college education. I am blessed to have both of these opportunities to daily glorify God and prepare me for my future as a teacher and coach.

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at Martin Luther?
At a school as small as MLC, the student body and faculty are great Christian supporters of student-athletes, both on and off the court/field. Professors are incredibly helpful catching us up in classes and are even in the bleachers cheering us on! I can't picture myself anywhere other than MLC.

Tell us about a unique experience you've had as a student at Martin Luther.
This past summer, I went on a Spanish immersion trip as part of my major to Argentina. For six weeks, I was only allowed to speak Spanish. Living with a host family, attending daily language classes in Buenos Aires, and living the new culture are invaluable experiences that I could never have sitting in a classroom.

What is the something most people don't know about you?
I love woodworking! When I'm back home for the summers, my dad and I build furniture together.
