Describe yourself in one word: Driven
Tell us about a unique experience you have had at Martin Luther.
I was able to go on an Urban Immersion trip to Milwaukee last year. I was able to shadow teachers in high-functioning urban classrooms and learn several teaching strategies.
What is the greatest leasson you have learned so far from being a college athlete?
To be honest, the greatest thing I have learned from being a collegiate athlete is that sometimes things don't turn out the way you planned. However, God always works everything out for your good!
What is something most people don't know about you?
I wrestled my senior year of high school, went to regionals, and was one match away from going to state.
Who has been the most influential on your athletics career and why?
The most influential person in my athletic career has been, and continues to be, my first basketball coach: Mario Martinez. Even though I was the shortest one on the team, he always expected me to perform as if I were six feet tall. He taught me to work hard and never give up, and he never stopped believing in me.
