ST. PAUL, Minn.---Each Wednesday throughout the year, the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) is featuring student-athletes in its new profile series the "UMAC Wednesday Wrap with..." Student-athletes share their perspective on being a student-athlete at their institution, in the UMAC and in Division III.

What does it mean to you to be a Division III student-athlete?
To me it means I hold myself to a higher standard so I can succeed on and off the court.
What is the greatest lesson you have learned so far from being a college athlete?
Things are never handed to you. You have to give it all you've got and work for it.
What is something most people don't know about you?
I have many different laughs.
Who has been the most influential on your athletics career any why?
My parents - they have always supported me by attending all my games and always pushing me to get better.

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at Bethany Lutheran?
I Being together as a team and being with other student athletes.

Being able to be a multi-sport athlete.
Who has been the most influential on your athletics career and why?
My high school Coach, Coach Jon Carlson - he pushed me and expected more out of me than anyone else had.
What is one thing you want to do before you graduate?
Study abroad.
