Superior's Schradle Named POW for the Third Time this Season

Zach Schradle, University of Wisconsin-Superior
Schradle notched his eighth double-double of the season, while he led the Yellowjackets in every statistical category against Martin Luther this past weekend. He tied for the team lead in assists, while finishing as the second leading scorer and rebounder against Bethany Lutheran. The Yellowjackets went 2-0 on the weekend and both games were conference match ups.

Jessica Cole, University of Northwestern
Cole's big weekend helped the Eagles to a pair of wins, as the sophomore averaged 17.5 points in UNW's two contests. In Friday's 79-51 victory over Finlandia, Cole poured in 18 points, including a 4-for-4 performance from downtown and 6-for-6 effort from the charity stripe. For the week, she went 9-of-14 (64.3 percent) from the floor, 6-of-6 from long range and 11-of-12 (91.7 percent) from the free-throw line.
UMAC MEN'S TRACK & FIELD RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Brent Wipf, University of Northwestern
Wipf led the Eagles at the UW-Stout Open last Saturday, as the freshman garnered a second place finish in the 800-meter run, clocking a time of 2:02.16. He was also a member of the 4x400-meter relay team.

Casey Hovland, College of St. Scholastica
At Saturday's Twin Ports Invite, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Superior, Hovland was part of two program records. She won and set a program mark in the mile run, posting a time of 5:14.06. She was also part of the 4x800m relay team that won and set a program and facility record time of 9:59.78.
