BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Eric Terres, Univsersity of Minnesota Morris

In nine games Terres nearly hit .500 on the week going 14-31 at the plate. He scored 12 runs and drove in four. His OBP was .526 while slugging .516. He added three stolen bases and had 21 putouts and 26 assists at shortstop.







BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Joey Hyde, University of Minnesota Morris

Hyde went 2-0 last week with a 2.13 ERA. He allowed just three earned runs in 12.2 innings while striking out ten and walking just four. He allowed just 11 hits, three extra base hits and held opponents to just .234 hitting.







SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Cindy Pawlitschek, Bethany LUtheran College

Pawlitschek had a good showing at the plate in her collegiate debut in Florida. The catcher/right fielder hit .538 in spring training and hit a grand slam in the opening game.







SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Anna Pipenhagen, Bethany Lutheran College

Pipenhagen had an impressive collegiate debut as the softball season kicked off in Florida last week. She won two games on the mound, including a complete-game shutout and struck out 51 batters in four appearances, an average of 12.75 a game. At the plate, she also delivered the game-winning, walk-off hit in that complete-game shutout on the mound.
