ST. PAUL – Following Saturday’s final round of the 2015 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Women’s Golf Championship at Alexandria Golf Club in Alexandria, Minn., the UMAC All -Conference award recipients were recognized.  The top eight individual scores from the three-day event plus two additional individuals as voted on by coaches were awarded the honor. 

Crown College’s Chantelle McCarthy led the list earning individual medalist honors at the championship event finishing with a three day 54-hole score of 255.  McCarthy’s teammate Paulina Dejamco was selected by the UMAC coaches as the 2015 UMAC Women’s Golf Player of the Year.  Dejamco finished fourth individually at the championship event and first in the conference rankings with a fall season average 18-hole score of 86.4. 

Bethany Lutheran College had the most individuals of any team named to the 10 person All-UMAC list with Jessica Neaton, Mackenzie Manthei and Allie Curtis all earning recognition. Vikings Head Coach Ryan Kragh was selected at the 2015 UMAC Women’s Golf Coach of the Year by his peers following his team’s second place finish at the championship event. 

2015 UMAC Women’s Golf Team Champion the University of Wisconsin-Superior had two individuals named to the all-conference team as Hailey Botten and Allie Nelson both earned the honor. Representing other institutions on the list were North Central University’s Tera Weyer, the University of Northwestern’s Naomi Black and Kelsey Wattenhofer from the University of Minnesota Morris. 

Martin Luther College won the team sportsmanship award, an accolade that is selected by the UMAC coaches and awarded to the team that best represents sportsmanship throughout the entire season, including the championship event.

Each team also had one representative named to the individual sportsmanship award list. The following individuals were selected:
