FOOTBALL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
WR Joe Sutton, University of Northwestern

Sutton's four touchdown catches in Saturday's win over Greenville were a program record. Overall he had eight receptions for 102 yards.







FOOTBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
DB Luke Sommerlot, University of Northwestern

Sommerlot had a career-high 18 tackles on Saturday and bumped his season TFL total up to 9.5 in the win against Greenville.








FOOTBALL SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
DB Mitch Ejnik, College of St. Scholastica

Ejnik returned a punt 70 yards for a touchdown in Saturday's win at Martin Luther. The 70-yard return was the second-longest in program history. He also forced a fumble in the contest.







MEN'S SOCCER OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
M Aaron Markgraf, Martin Luther College

Markgraf scored four goals in two games last week. He scored the Knights' goal in a 3-1 loss at UNW on Friday, and then tied a career-best with three goals in Saturday's 4-0 win at NCU.







MEN'S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
D Daniel Arellano, Crown College

Arellano scored from 25-plus yards out on Saturday in front of his family on Senior Day. The left back also helped hold Northland scoreless to secure Crown's fifth shutout of the UMAC season.







WOMEN'S SOCCER OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
F Jenna Maurer, Martin Luther College

Maurer scored three goals over the weekend to help MLC go 2-0. She scored once in Friday's 3-2 win over Northwestern, and then added two goals in a 6-0 win at North Central.







WOMEN'S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
GK Emily Romuald, Northland College

Romuald held strong in one home non-conference match and two conference away matches this week coming away with two wins and a tie, the wins helped the LumberJills gain six points in conference play.







MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Chris Lawson, College of St. Scholastica

Lawson led the Saints at the AAE UW-Oshkosh Invitational on Saturday with a time of 26:04.4 finishing in 130th place in the field that included 664 runners and 47 teams.







WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Amanda Peters, University of Minnesota Morris

Peters set a new personal best, taking second at the St. Bonifacius Invite with a time of 22:54.6 leading the Cougars to a first place team finish.







VOLLEYBALL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
OH Lindsey Peterson, University of Northwestern

Peterson had a steady weekend with 50 kills in four matches, two of which were against Top 25 teams. The freshman added 3.62 digs per set to help UNW's defense.







VOLLEYBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
DS Danielle Benusa, College of St. Scholastica

Benusa had 54 digs in three matches on Saturday averaging 5.4 digs per set for the Saints on the day.








VOLLEYBALL SETTER OF THE WEEK
S Leesa Hulstrand, University of Northwestern

Hulstrand averaged 4.8 assists per set on the weekend while adding 1.13 kills per set and a 0.53 blocks per set for the Eagles.
