ST. PAUL -- After both teams finished the season with a trophy in hand, the College of St. Scholastica and Northwestern College each boasted five Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) All-Conference awards. The Saints claimed the UMAC regular season title for the 15th straight year after going a perfect 10-0 before the Eagles bested St. Scholastica by a point to take the conference tournament crown on Saturday at the Baseline Tennis Center.

Northwestern freshman David Knight was named the UMAC Player of the Year after going a combined 10-0 at both the Nos. 1 and 2 singles position. Knight was joined by teammates Keagen Blancke, Josh Fread, Caleb Kauss and Josh Nelson on the all-conference list. Seniors Brendan Anderson and Tucker Combs headlined St. Scholastica’s group. Joining them were Jake Engelstad, Kevin Hilpert and Brian Lindberg. Saints head coach Wells Patten was named the UMAC Coach of the Year.

Martin Luther was the only other UMAC team to be represented on the all-conference list, as the Knights’ Scott Henrich and Ryan Obry rounded out the 12-member group.
