ST. PAUL – Fresh off of winning its fourth consecutive outright UMAC Tournament on Saturday, the College of St. Scholastica boasted six all-conference award-winners to lead the league. All six received championship medals in Saturday’s finale after having won their respective flights in the tournament.

Jeremiah Schneck was the only non-St. Scholastica player to win his flight in the conference tournament. Schneck was one of three student-athletes from Northwestern College to receive all-conference accolades, which also included UMAC Player of the Year honoree Caleb Kauss. Kauss finished the conference schedule with a 9-1 record in singles play while teaming up with Schneck to go 9-1 in doubles as well.

Dan Fragodt was one of two all-conference award recipients from the University of Minnesota-Morris.   Fragodt, who was joined by Geoff Giraud on the list, entered the UMAC Tournament as the top seed in the No. 2 doubles flight. Scott Henrich represented Martin Luther College as an all-conference award winner.

Following his team’s perfect 10-0 conference record in 2010, St. Scholastica head coach Wells Patten was chosen by his colleagues as the UMAC Coach of the Year.
