St. Scholastica places 13 on women's track & field all-conference team

ST. PAUL – The College of St. Scholastica had 13 of its student-athletes selected to the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Women’s Track and Field All-Conference team, the league announced on Wednesday.  Northwestern College (7) and the University of Minnesota, Morris (6) rounded out the other half of the 26 all-conference awards.  St. Scholastica won last Saturday’s UMAC Conference Meet at the University of Minnesota, Morris, defeating the second place Cougars by 85 points.

Minnesota, Morris’ Megan Croatt was selected as the athlete of the meet by the UMAC coaches following a day-long performance that included the junior winning the 100 and 200 meter dashes and the pole vault competition.  Croatt was also a member of the Cougars’ 4x100 and 4x400 meter relay teams.

Morris head coach Jeremy Karger-Gatzow was elected UMAC Coach of the Year by his colleagues.
