The College of St. Scholastica’s women’s track and field team won its sixth straight UMAC Championship on Saturday as the Saints cruised to 296 points. The University of Minnesota, Morris claimed the men’s championship as both meets were held on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Superior.

St. Scholastica earns 16 all-conference awards in indoor track & field

After St. Scholastica won the UMAC Indoor Track & Field Championship in dominating fashion on Saturday, the Saints won 16 of the 27 all-conference awards that were handed out. The Saints scored 274 points in Saturday’s meet, more than twice than that of second-place University of Minnesota-Morris, who had 128.

The St. Scholastica men's and women's teams claimed first place in 16 of 31 competitions on Saturday to win both of the UMAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. The Saints women's squad took 274 points to more than double second-place Minnesota-Morris, while the St. Scholastica men earned 208 points to best the rest of the field.
