Fresh off of winning its fourth consecutive outright UMAC Tournament on Saturday, the College of St. Scholastica boasted six all-conference award-winners to lead the league. All six received championship medals in Saturday’s finale after having won their respective flights in the tournament.
The College of St. Scholastica won its fourth consecutive UMAC Men’s Tennis Tournament on Saturday after taking eight of the nine singles and doubles flights at the Baseline Tennis Center on the University of Minnesota campus. The Saints won all but the No. 3 singles flight en route to earning 26 points in the tournament which was easily good for first place.
While Mother Nature has been relatively nice this spring, she decided to throw one last curve ball of the season, resulting in the UMAC Softball Tournament being postponed for a day. The men's and women's tennis tournaments will go on as scheduled.
The St. Scholastica men’s tennis team captured its 14th consecutive UMAC regular season championship with an 8-1 win over the University of Minnesota-Morris.
With 13 straight Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) regular season championships under its belt, the College of St. Scholastica men’s tennis team is once again the unanimous favorite to win the league title in 2010
