Greenville College took the cake in the 2010 UMAC Preseason Coaches’ Poll, earning 58 points and five first place votes in the first preseason ballot to include all nine conference teams in one division.  Greenville bested second place-Martin Luther College in the poll.

Presentation College is adding a football team to give students the full college experience, says the Aberdeen American News' Jeff Bahr.  He notes that a side benefit for the college's president, Dr. Lorraine Hale, is that the Saints will have a pep band.

It did not take long for Greenville College to settle on its newest head football coach.  After a one-month search, Greenville College has announced that it has selected Ordell Walker as its sixth head football coach effective immediately.  Walker has been leading the program on an interim basis since December 22.
