The College of St. Scholastica softball team has faced tough competition early in the 2016 seaseon and Kara Warren has been at the top of her game to help the Saints find success. Over a three-game stretch last week, Warren hit 6-of-7 from the plate and ended the week with an impressive .429 average and .857 slugging percentage. The senior collected two RBI and a home run in a 11-0 rout of Oberlin College and had a double and a triple in two other games. Warren also crossed home plate three times in five games. The defending UMAC champion Saints will face 2015 runner-up University of Minnesota Morris in the conference opener Saturday in Morris, Minnesota.
